Angsana Laguna Phuket 5* is a unique hotel complex located near one of the most beautiful lagoons in Phuket.

The hotel was built in 1992, but in 2011 it underwent a major renovation with a complete renovation of the number of rooms. The buildings are located between the sea and the lagoon; there is a huge swimming pool on the territory. I really liked the hotel - beautiful green area, good restaurants, beautiful beach and sea. We booked a room with access to the pool - it was very convenient and besides, this building has a good location relative to the entire hotel infrastructure. There weren't enough sunbeds. But this is always the case, where there are a lot of tourists from the CIS, they immediately get tired of the “tourist camp”. From 7:00 in the morning, sun loungers are occupied, and they can remain occupied and unused for half a day, or even all day. The administration needs to somehow resolve this issue. For example, immediately reserve sun loungers for each room for the entire vacation period. I saw a similar practice in Italy.

The cleaning staff takes a very long time to clean the room. one person per 2-room suite. it's around 2 hours. at breakfasts you order coffee - they either bring it by the end of breakfast, or they completely forget it (it’s a 7-minute walk to the sea. It’s not an acquired taste - it’s not very good for us with a stroller. To reach external infrastructure, you also need to take a bus or taxi... even to a basic grocery store is far away . There are no clothes dryers, they called and asked to bring them separately - they brought one bar on racks and ended up drying them on whatever they could - on the balconies, on chairs, on a stroller..

Locals offer drinks and food on the beach, cheaper than at the hotel. The hotel has a large, green, well-groomed area. There are lagoons where you can ride a catamaran, kayak, or paddle board (free). A monitor lizard lives in the lagoon, we met him while basking in the sun) nature is everywhere in the hotel: a lot of birds, greenery, flowers. Very cozy and beautiful. A huge swimming pool with several sections: for sports games, a river, two sections with a jacuzzi. Children are given an inflatable slide or a path made of foam propylene, along which they can run through the water. There is something like a children's room where you can leave your child. There is a small playground in the shade and various activities for children. My son went to a master class on taming cupcakes (300 baht). He liked this. There is also a master class on pizza decorating. Everything in the hotel corresponds to the description on the website. We took accommodation with breakfast. I highly recommend doing this: breakfast is very varied. Several types of egg dishes, pancakes, yoghurts, Viennese waffles, French toast, Chinese food, Indian food, several types of juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruits, vegetables. In short, for every taste! There is a small restaurant by the pool where you can have a snack from 12-17, mostly fast food, but there are also local dishes. The portions are large. The room was on two levels near the lagoon: a living room (downstairs there is a separate bathroom), a kitchenette, two bedrooms (one has a shower room, the other has a bathroom). On the 3rd floor there is a veranda with a dining table and two sun loungers. There is also an outdoor shower here. The description of the room and the photo on the website are true. The room is cleaned every day and drinking water is brought. You can take as much water as you need, there are no restrictions. My daughter and I went to the spa and really enjoyed it.
